How is this for a twist of fate? Movie theaters want more movies.

It is true, though. I noticed it at my preferred theater. The choice has waned, some movies overstay their welcome, and others get pulled off too soon. There also doesn't look to be enough to fill each theater, so you'll see two or three showing the same film. Yes, that's a thing for a new Marvel release, although nobody went to any of Quantumania's five booked rooms.

Interesting development. Theatrical distribution has been out of whack for a while now with streamers and then covid. I'd love to see a return to form with theatrical runs we had ten years ago.

I'm with you, Nick - I'd love to return to Friday Date Nights with dinner AND a movie. I'm curious what kind of cinematic experiences would draw people in, though...
