I've been asked to be sales agent for awards winning movie, "Sil and the Devil Seeds of Arodor"

Hi, I've been asked by the production company, Reeltime Pictures, to be sales agent for the multiple awards winning Sci-Fi movie, "Sil and the Devil Seeds of Arodor" of which I also happen to be the lead actor. The producer has offered me the opportunity for a commission on the sales, so my first question to those out there who know (as I haven't a clue) what percentage should I ask? 10%, 15%, 20% or 25%?

My aim is to sell the rights on an individual nation basis and not sell the world-wide rights to any national network. I suppose this is a big ask but can anyone point me to a website that lists TV networks around the world?

Below is a link to a trailer for the movie.

Maybe a non-exclusive PPV Platform will work. https://l360tv.com/ice-ppv-1

Most domestic distributors taking 20% to 30% of sale + fees and international reps 20% + fees.

Neal, L360TV is a docking station for indie films for free (like YouTube) where you send your warm market and charge a PPV fee in which you get paid 50% of the fee.

Hello Van Shotwell, lovely to meet you, and thank you for your response. I had a look at your company's website - L360TV - it could well be what I need, not just as a sales rep for the producers of "Sil and the Devil Seeds of Arodor" but as an indie film maker in my own right. I am a disabled actor who loves to tell and create stories in theatre, film, television and as novels. I believe in diversity and multi-culturalism because each and every one of us have vital contributions to the growth of the human spirit and goodness, even if it involves occasionally telling "dark" stories, hence, I had the need in 1996 to tell the terrible story of the Disabled Holocaust perpetrated by the German Nazi regime under Hitler, principally because no one else was telling this story, and it needed to be told be a disabled person. Happily, I was commissioned to write a play, which I called "The First To Go" (we were the first to be gassed in the SS built gas chambers) but it took me 12 years to get it staged. Eventually, the play had its world premiere in 2008 in Edinburgh, Scotland. I adapted the story for a movie script and had hoped a big producer would pick it up, but everyone I approached shied away because they didn't think the subject matter would be Box Office, especially as I will never allow the disabled central characters to be played by non-disabled Hollywood stars.

Below is a link to a video of the live performance of my play in 2008. I am also one of the actors.

Thank you, Neal, for your comment and advice.

Unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world...or an ideal one. Assuming your script is compelling, perhaps weigh the value and impact of having the story told vs. not telling it at all because of the casting criteria. Not sure when you last pitched it, but there have been more inroads as of late in the casting of disabled actors. Is there a key role that might appeal to a non-disabled actor of note that might suffice to get the project made while casting disabled actors around them? Easy for me to suggest compromises I know. Apologize for weighing in on your principles. I remember Swing Kids and the Frank Whaley story line as a disabled person facing impending Nazi persecution. It was quite impactful. I can imagine how moving an entire well-crafted script devoted to the subject might be.

Hellpo Neal, thank you for your comments. A casting director friend on seeing my script "The First To Go" that there were key non-disabled roles that were a gift for a non-disabled star, such as the Nazi doctor who masterminded Hitler's euthanasia project, and commissioned the apparatus for speedily and efficiently killing the "useless eaters" as described by Hitler and Goebells. Indeed, the script has several key and interesting roles for non-disabled actors.
