Netflix and Amazon are getting smarter. They don't buy now if there is nothing to buy. They did some strategical overpriced acquisitions in the past that were more political than anything (lost money!!! but gain popularity) and now they are all about the biz and watching their pockets. Movie pass is trying to do the same and become a player but their position in the market is pretty weak, very weak piece of real estate with a shaky concept and at some point all those money (hedge funds) would disappear from their pockets. Give them a year or two and that stock would go down.
