Wondering if anyone has suggestions for platforms or distributors that like social issue docs or doc series besides Netflix? Or if you have any sources I might not have researched for funding.
One thing I can share is I heard a lot at a conference that distributors or production companies were wanting doc series and not regular docs. They said it's so much work to get started on a subject they'd rather do a series. But then I'm finding ironically of the funders are only wanting docs but not series.
