If you're flexible and willing to ride the wave, then maybe consider it! Honestly, having something on a slate that people can get excited about is enough to launch, IMO.
This one had me at SciFi Martial Arts films! <3

This is the time for new distribution platforms (which is why we launched Facet TV and On Demand Global in July, with the premiere of our series Sin 13). But... theatrical? I see online and sell-through distribution as a good bet, if the business model is good. I am not really sure of the viability of the model in the new world. The advantage is that when cinemas get to open again in this country, they will theoretically have something in the pipeline. But then, theatrical is a "zero sum" game and you have to compete with the majors in that. (assuming they haven't de facto abandoned theatrical already - Disney+ etc. suggests that might be the case and of course Netflix never has and never will be a player in theatrical)
