Get another job and save a portion of it for your film in a separate account?
Look for filmmaker / screenwriting grants?
Research film financiers?
Network?
Donate you body to science (like Robert Rodriguez)?
Part of the blessing and curse is that there is no one definitive way AND that there are no guarantees. So you have to figure out what will work for you and your film.
It's a long arduous road that requires a lot stamina and patience.
*To get a short film made, I paid for it myself, instead of buying a new car. It didn't get into any MAJOR festivals BUT it got into festivals, in front of people. It's now a part of my portfolio; it got me a couple small paying jobs, and it won some awards and continues to build a small audience for my next film...

No money or job? forget about making movies and get your personal life square away first.
Then, start saving $$ and collaborate with people. This is primarily your dream. Can't be broke from the start. or use your credit cards.
