Hi, I had another post out re. the short film I'm going to make - Vonelle - and one reply suggested talking to Chipotle for food donations for cast and crew.
As soon as I've found my main character, Vonelle - a black transsexual, 40s - 50s - I'll make a one sheet and canvas the businesses in my area (Miami).
Do you know any companies who are likely to sponsor a short film? Have sponsoring experience to share?

Thanks Erik. Well, we'll see. Transsgender movies seem to be getting a lot of attention. Chipotle said no. I'm going to try local businesses too.

I think that's the best way, Lauran. Find local companies and local people willing to support YOU. I understand that Transgender movies are getting a lot of attention and you may have good luck in festivals, but there is no money to be made from short films. But locals can be interested in the people behind the movie - willing to support the filmmaker they believe in.
