This is the biggest issue and let down of Thousands of Film Makers. It’s rooted in the false excitement of easily getting funded using one of many CF platforms. The truth of the matter is this... Crowdfunding is easy but only under certain conditions. 1. You need a Project Worthy Of Crowdfunding (Not All Projects Are Crowdfunding projects.) 2. Marketing the project in digitally and non digital is key. ( remember the most powerful tool of marketing is word of mouth. Not Facebook ads and last time I checked it was free referencing my Word Of Mouth statement.) 3. You Need awesome Marketing Deliverables such as multiple Movie posters, photography, Website etc. Remember it’s ok if your project isn’t a crowdfunding project. There are other ways to raise the money outside of the ready built CF Platforms but you must first ask yourself what kind of project do you actually have and is it a fit for the Crowdfunding Platform and Crowdfunding Community.
