Seed & Spark and Kickstarter seem to be the platforms of choice but consider your audience more than your platform. Would you screen your film locally? Shoot locally? Then you may get your local community interested in investing because of the excitement of seeing their town/people in your film (I've been on a short where we shot in a small town and then premiered it in the town and everyone in that town rallied behind the crowdfunding for its distribution because they wanted to attend).
