What was everyones favorite movie of 2013? Personally my favorite was Dallas Buyers Club , Matthew McConaughey deserved that oscar win and should get an emmy for True Detective in my opinion.

I loved a lot of the movies in 2013, the one that got me smiling most, was the piano/singing antics scenes in 'Saving Mr. Banks'.

Watching Jared Leto's performance in Dallas Buyers' Club was like being in another universe. He was so damn good. Great movie. But Captain Phillips had me on the edge of my seat from the first scene. The Counsellor was another one I held my breath through. There were some I haven't seen yet. But it has been a fantastic year for movies.

I must admit I can't decide between Dallas Buyers Club and August: Osage County. The acting in both films were fantastic, they're both dramas...I loved their authenticity and their gut-wrenching qualities. The only reason I'd settle with Dallas Buyers Club would be because it was directed by Quebec filmmaker, Jean-Marc Vallée.
