Okay... as a hyphenate (actor-writer) I respond on both levels to Hollywood's current plague of reboots, remakes and re-imaginings of just about everything. I KNOW this site alone is stacked with writers who have better (original) fare to offer. So... I ask that you please join me in utilizing #RejectTheReboot (and its cousin #RejectTheRemake) as often as you post on various social media platforms. Maybe... just maybe... it will eventually get our collective points across! - MO

I just tried, repeat, tried, and FAILED to watch the Heathers reboot on the Paramount Network. OMG. (I'm a screenwriter) And don't worry, for the 20 minutes I saw.. I will be using this hashtag. DX DX DX I want to post my opinion about it but I'm afraid it might be too vitriolic for the others here.

Those ugly ducklings make money. Original ideas are scary to execs. Take a proven formula, add some profanity and secure the rights to the original theme music and it's off to the bank! They are usually really bad, though. #RejectTheReboot #RejectTheRemake
