For 28 years I have enjoyed being in front of the camera, from TV work, to short films, and feature films. Three years ago I started screenwriting. I have a feature length dramatic thriller screenplay which I am also directing, called "Deal". It has had 23 drafts, and is now in pre production. My next film will be another thriller. I also created, and run, "Melbourne Actors Meet Up Group", a networking group for anybody in the entertainment industry, including stage, screen, novelty performers, filmmakers, agents, etc, on Facebook. We hold networking events every three months in Melbourne. Members from anywhere in Australia are welcome, as long as they are in the entertainment industry. Cheers mate. Yes, it has been a long road, full of obstacles and setbacks, delays and stress, but it's moving ahead.
This is my first feature that I am currently directing, and the budget has yet to be evaluated, but not including cast and crew pay it will be a reasonably lower budget. I can't really comment on it at this stage.
And we are looking at investors, but crowdfunding if that fails. The producer is yet to work out the full details.
