An introduction

Hello all, my name is Christopher Hyde and I am pleased to be part of this creative platform.

I've only just discovered Stage 32 and am excited to see what this site has to offer. I am a filmmaker from the UK and have been working on various productions for nearly ten years.

I run a creative writing podcast where I talk about tips on how to write screenplays and novels. That is available on Spotify, Google Podcasts and a site called Anchor (which is where the podcast is originally posted to).

I also work on an exciting internet franchise called Reality Blows. It is a TV/Film hybrid that I have been working on since 2014 and to date have released eight episodes all of which are available on the official Reality Blows YouTube channel.

My goal on Stage 32 is to meet like-minded, passionate, creative individuals who may be interested in helping out on various projects, become friends and help me navigate my way through this tough industry.

As I said earlier, I am excited to see what Stage 32 can do to help me progress in my career. I am excited to start networking and meeting you all who have the same or similar interests. Filmmaking has always been my passion from an early age and would love to share my stories and vision to the world.

If you are interested in seeing more of what I do you can listen to my podcast Creative Writing with Keziah Hyde on various outlets (Spotify, Google Podcasts etc.) and if you are interested in watching my long-running series Reality Blows you can watch all the episodes on YouTube or on the official Reality Blows website: www.realityblows.co.uk

Thank you all for reading and I hope you all have a great day!

Samantha Lee

Welcome, always good to hear how people started and how they progress, give me hope as a new screenwriter looking to break into the industry

Christopher Hyde

Thanks Samantha I have been a freelance filmmaker for a few years but I feel I'm finally ready to take that first step into the unknown. It may be scary, it may even be exciting but isn't that just the thrill of the adventure?

Phil Clarke

Welcome, Christopher. Here if you ever want to talk about the wonderful world of screenwriting.
