Diversity Writer with 6 scripts (all finalists including Nicholl) and a short film (11 laurels)

Hi there! I'm Sid, Indian-American that writes minority driven comedy and dramedy. Not to toot my own horn (but I guess we all are here), but I started writing 3 years ago after 13 year in finance with no formal training, and have since amassed 6 scripts with 25+ competition awards, and a short film with 11 laurels thus far this festival season.

I have had offers for representation but either wasn't ready or didn't feel the perfect fit. I am now ready for that next step and want to work with a manager/agent that has minority clients and knows that minority subsect of hollywood well.

If you have recommendation, please chat with me!

Hi Sid, Congrats on the awards. You must be an awesome writer! If you go to script services, it is an incredible place to read the bios of all the execs in Stage 32 and pick one that matches your needs--whether a manager, an exec for a studio, etc. You can do a script consult with a manager, submit first 10 pages of a script, or submit a pitch and get feedback, which hopefully might lead to them wanting your work to move it forward. I also have 3 screenplays focused on diversity and am looking for the right manager/producer/director or actor to move them forward. Keep in touch on your journey!

Definitely reach out to our Director of Script Services, Jason Mirch, who is excellent at matching projects with potential executives (or managers, in your case): J.Mirch@stage32.com
