Hello from Tacoma WA !!!!!

Hello, my name is Mick Flaaen and I hail from the great Northwest city of Tacoma WA. I am a student independent filmmaker. I recently went back to school to become a filmmaker. I received a degree in production design and have transferred to the University of Washington Tacoma campus where I am majoring in Art/film studies. I have written and directed "Welcome to Parkland," "Hearts and Fists," two short narratives. And have produced and directed a short doc. entitled "Paint" about graffiti and urban street art, and "A Funeral Dance,"a feature documentary about a contemporary dance company in Tacoma, which will have it's world premiere at the Tacoma Film Festival this Oct. 4-11. I am happy to meet all of you and be part of Stage 32.

Mick! I also live in Tacoma and beside being a Sag-Aftra Member since 1978, I am also a script writer with several scripts written i.e., a Sci Fi, TV Pilot, Detective Story, two Independent Films, Comedy Sitcom, Faith Based Indie, Adventure Film, BIO PIC, two Animated Shorts and two Documentaries just to name a few, some of which are in Draft form. A Vocalist/Lyricist ( ASCAP ) and have recorded 1 Album and working on the second. I have reinstated my Acting and Filmmakers South Sound Actor's Workshop as an Adjunct Professor with a MFA with open enrollment beginning 3/17 and 3/18 from 1pm to 3pm. I have been writing Stories/Scripts since 2011 6 days a week 8 hours per day and currently writing my Autobiography. Would be more than great full to collaborate with you!
