Introduce Yourself : Hello from a very very Bleak UK!! by Liam Jenkins

Hello from a very very Bleak UK!!

I'm new here, just wanted to say hello and introduce myself!

And yes, I can see you all smothering your laughs in your sleeves... I'm British and yes, I know that our Prime Minister is an absolute doughnut we know it, you know it, even the Italians know it! at present were being metaphorically used as cannon fodder, going over the top against the dreaded Covid-19 given milky messages to get back to work but only if it's safe...

Anyway, that's kind of the reason why I'm on here, basically I want to escape! escape mentally and talk all things creative kick around the imaginary can on anything alternative and different.

So please! anyone I'm opening up the lines of communication to talk about anything and everything. I'm also looking for a mentor a shaman or deity to talk to and discuss all things creative...someone who has been there and done that and safe in the knowledge that the struggle isn't for nothing.

One must dash...There's a chap at the window asking for some more...

Hi Liam, welcome to the site, I live in Hertfordshire, near Watford, it's great to meet another Brit on the site. For the last two years I have been working on my screenplay, The Postcard, which is based on the true story of my Great Grandparents. I've had a lot of help from Stage 32 script services and the script is coming along really nicely, I'm also a lyricist and have been working on some song writing projects, which is all keeping me busy during lockdown.

Hey Rosalind, thanks so much for replying!

It's all a bit bleak and scary here isn't it...

Sounds V interesting your screenplay...what stage are you at with it? I'm a Self Published Children's YA Author. Also have a few more ideas that I'm working on. This site seems great and hoping to connect with some like minded people. How funny that you're. lyricist, my wife is a singing teacher. I think I'm going to like it here ; )
