Introduce Yourself : Hello to all by Shawnassey Brooks

I have taken a few moments to acquaint myself with this site and I agree that this is a fantastic effort for industry networking. I frequently work with clients looking for people who do different things in the industry (camera, make up, editing, etc.), and I'm thrilled to have a new resource to draw from. As for me, I am a 14 year entertainment lawyer with a busy practice on the Mississippi/Alabama/Florida Gulf Coast. I work with clients all over the country, but the film incentives and opportunities in these three states are amazing, so I stay very busy working in the local area. I have written books for the ABA and regularly publish articles and teach courses on entertainment law. I have a very heavy film practice, but I also work with authors and musicians on book and record launches. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!
