Introduce Yourself : Here I stand. I can do no other? by Timothy M. Kestrel

I'd like to introduce myself to this magnificent group of people whose work I have enjoyed for long on so many occasions. I have been inspired by the TV and film industry. Thank you! I write historical fiction. So, our work speaks for us, right? Without further ado, please allow me to let my critics talk for me. One reviewer compared my work to The Last of the Mohicans. Another one said that my style is more like medieval romances of King Arthur’s court. Third one said that I use a cinematic approach to showcase the setting, engaging all the senses. Publishers Weekly wrote that my book is "full of adventure, battle, derring-do, and excitement." But I liked the most the Foreword review saying that my "drama reads like a blockbuster Spielberg screenplay–colorful, dangerous, and exciting." I'm a big Spielberg fan (Saving Private Ryan is one of the best movies of all time) and I really really enjoyed the review, although I wasn't expecting that sort of praise as a fresh indie novelist. But, life's a dream and sometimes they come true, don't they? I look forward to connecting with people whose work I have enjoyed so much for years and look forward to enjoying next 1000 years!
