Hi everybody! This is a re-introduction. I am a screenwriter (finding her place in the world) by night and a freelance editor by day. I recently won my first award for Best Horror Feature Screenplay at the 17th Annual Shriekfest! It was my first fest, outside of my volunteer work at the Savannah Film Fest, and I had so much fun.
I travel from Florida to Georgia for work, but I am seriously considering moving to Los Angeles with a friend. I'm still trying to figure out the best contests for screenwriters, or if I should continue with contests at all. I hear so many conflicting statements about the topic. I just started entering a couple here and there a few months ago so, I am a newbie at that.
Currently, I am working on a couple of different scripts. One is psychological horror titled "The Night I Vanished" and the other is a ghost tale (what I like to call them) that takes place in the early 60s, centered around an interracial couple (as if they didn't have enough issues). I am super excited to connect with you guys on here and wish everyone the best of luck on their current projects and the ones in the future!
