Introduce Yourself : Lannah Sawers-Diggins by Lannah Sawers-Diggins

Hi all. I have been a member of 'Stage 32' for a while - just have not participated much. But now I have reached a stage where I would like to re-introduce myself and share with the world what I am doing - my 'project'. In short, I am a writer (as well as a freelance journo, photographer, advocate and more) and have recently had my pride and joy (after my family): 'Red Dust Dreams' published. It is a non-fiction title which focuses on the domestic side of life on 20 of Australia's remote pastoral stations. I am Australian and I originate from such a life - a sheep station. There is a huge amount to this but I won't go into it now. I will just add it was a finalist in the 2017 International Book Awards and is in the running for a couple of other awards. We are also making a documentary, based on the book, but providing the visual interpretation. We have just finished making the first part of this and are now organizing the other three parts. We are also setting up a YouTube channel, devoted to the people of the outback and I have recently begun collaborating with a fashion label website, based in the USA. All so much fun. Life is GREAT.
