Dear creative minds...
I'm an established film editor from Copenhagen - now trying to really break in as a director. I'm looking for my next short to direct. I have a lifetime of film and tv experience - but not anything current, to show off my directing skills. *since I have been spending my creative juices on other peoples creative projects and mostly fixing things in post ;) ... Now I am looking to get my hands on a (budget friendly) short script to nurture and bring to life.
Who has something lying in their drawers, just begging to be read?
Stories that could interest me: social dilemmas, human relations, child view, minorities. / Genres could be: magic realism, high concept, light drama, urban.
A good friend of mine (director) just made a "remote" short collaborating with industry people from around the world and it has been so amazing to follow her project come to life. I'd love to do something similar - but I also have a wast network of talented film-friends here in Denmark to pull from. Anyway... I'd love to connect with more brilliant people from around the world! - Being here in Stage32 (newbie) , I am overwhelmed by the amount of talent, dreamers, go-getters and achievers... But I have to believe that there is enough magic and space out there for all of us... I cannot wait to find my next film family/crew!
