In case we have not yet met, my name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage 32. Welcome to Introduce Yourself Weekend! You'll soon learn that I love Ice Breakers, but before I post the GAME, I'd like to share a few resources that hopefully make your Introduce Yourself Weekend even more enjoyable!
First, for those who have incomplete or outdated profiles, please enjoy my recent blog about how best to utilize a "Polished Profile": https://www.stage32.com/blog/Shape-Up-Your-Calling-Card-The-Importance-o... To maximize the impact of your networking, I HIGHLY recommend you complete your profile. Lots of members won't add you to their network if it's incomplete!
Second, I am available via direct message here on Stage 32, so if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out at any time! When in doubt, post your question in the lounges and if I don't respond, our very knowledgeable community can help you out!
Finally, I would encourage you to continue your conversations, or start new conversations, in the topic-specific lounges. Click on the "Lounge" tab and jump into the subject you want to participate in: Acting, Animation, Filmmaking, Post-Production, etc. Also, don't forget to scroll through as there are plenty of great posts that haven't been commented on in a while (and so get pushed to the next page).
Not sure how to interact with the community? Here's my intro blog that breaks it down for you! https://www.stage32.com/blog/Find-Your-Community-on-Stage-32 I also have a blog about resetting your intentions for networking if you need a new approach: https://www.stage32.com/blog/How-to-Make-Friends-in-the-Film-Business-Re...
And now... LET'S PLAY A GAME! If you could attach any two actors to your current project (whether you're writing, directing, producing, or working opposite as an actor), who would they be and why?
