It's been more than five years since I joined and since I did an intro, and those five years came with a lot of diversions from filmmaking after working on a few shorts, so...guess who's back?
I recently moved back to Southern California after 25 years in Las Vegas, for a variety of reasons, including going deeper into the filmed entertainment industry–primarily as a writer. I have a half-hour TV dramedy pilot floating around out there that's gained a bit of traction, and I'm preparing a pitch/pilot script for another TV series, a teen-focused hour-long drama series.
I'm also in pre-production on a documentary about the rise and fall (and potential rise again) of Las Vegas' original commercial and cultural thoroughfare, based on this cover story I wrote for the Las Vegas Weekly many moons ago: https://lasvegasweekly.com/news/archive/2006/jan/19/days-of-future-past/
Otherwise, I'm hoping to connect with other L.A./O.C.-area filmmakers for potential collaboration. I'm also down to help out on indie projects in any capacity, and have experience with editing, screenwriting, directing, videography and general production.
