I'm a screenwriter, novelist, and non-fiction book author. I make a living from my writing and have for about 20 years or so. None of the awards I've won, films produced, or books published match up to that single achievement: I make a living as a writer. And I am thoroughly grateful for that blessing. I hope that I also make a difference with my writing, which is even more important than making a living. Everything else is gravy.
