Wager mostly balances his time between independent feature films and commercials. Post Emerson College, Jeff started to shoot numerous independent short films, corporate & industrials, music videos, and soon found himself working grip/electric for IATSE Local 16 in San Francisco. Here he gained valuable experience working for Warner Brothers on Sphere, Disney’s Flubber, and television shows like Nash Bridges, for CBS. Wager was working as a Lighting Director, Gaffer, and Camera Operator in the late 90’s which quickly led to Music Videos for Third Eye Film Works, most of which aired on the BET Network. This in turn, opened the door for camerawork at Macy’s Satellite Network, interviews with Joe Satriani, Metallica, and Josh Gorban for Speedway Films in Los Angeles. In 2006, Wager shot all the Jerry Rice interviews for ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, and then went on to shoot an African Dance Feature, Sabar for the Rhesus Media Group. In 2008 Wager Directed photography on Where’s Marty? (best picture travel category Huston World Fest), a feature for the Monterey Film Commission with cameo roles from Betty White, George Lopez, Ken Howard and Tony Curtis. At the end of 2008, Jeff accepted a hybrid position as both Cinematography instructor and full time Technical Director for Burlington College. He resigned at the end of 2012 to finish several of his own projects and reenter the production world headfirst. Hey Jeff...I would certainly add a little more color about yourself rather than just posting links! I would also definitely suggest posting your work to your Stage 32 profile so that people can find out about you without having to click out to an external site (which sacrifices about 40-70% of your audience!) Great to have you and your talents here in the community.
