I started writing screenplays in 2009. I’m a delivery driver. Somehow, the combination of driving and solitude turns on the left side of my brain and stories come to life. I also have a song that I like to play over and over in the car, when I am developing a screenplay, that gets those creative juices flowing: Giorgio Moroder’s instrumental “The Chase.” Once the story idea is percolating in my brain I also find a unique song that would fit into the soundtrack, that I will play over and over until the first draft is complete. I also like libraries and noisy shopping mall food courts, when it comes down to typing the story, using final draft software. I love writing screenplays and am thrilled when a new one pops into my head. My current screenplay “Timescapes” was optioned this month. It’s my first option.
