Introduce Yourself : The Cost of Opportunity by Pedro BaldÓ

Hi everyone, good to be able to Introduce Myself through this platform. I am a passionate writer, very much into historical literature and fictional writing also. I have, as of late, been working on a plot about a dying man, who, having lived through a series of life-changing events, hard decisions and sharp turns, realizes (through a series of flashbacks) that he has been set up by the common cast (always the same people, during his multiple lives) into a "parallel universe" that is a dead-end, which is, as it turns out, the life he currently lives.

When he dies and is reborn again, he now makes certain (being fully conscious and with fresh memories from the lives he has lived) that he does not incur into the same mistakes he made in previous lives, when he comes to those same crossroads again, and additionally takes payback on some of the gruesome characters that made his life veer the wrong direction, on different occasions, during the lives he has lived.

He also learns that making "the right choice" will not necessarily land him exactly where he wants to be, since this will mean having to make a sacrifice on any other good situation, or privilege that decision has awarded him before. Thus he eternally is circling inside an infinite maze, where he can never see beyond choices he does not understand, even when he is seemingly leading "the perfect life" (if there is such a thing!!). This is in short the synopsis and I have titled it: The Cost of Opportunity.
