Where I am; and how I got there

Hello Stage 32 Talent from both sides the camera and on & off stage I am new to the Atlanta area having flew down for an audition with Universal Theme Parks for a year contract in Japan. I extended my time in Atlanta to audition for Disney Japan and now extended the extension to put several extra spots for feature films on the calendar and on the resume. I am a versatile actor with improv skills and quick with the joke. Depending on the situation it can be off-color; although always on, I do have a control switch. Acting experience has come from many stage performances over the last 20+ years in Minnesota and Alaska as well as while receiving a BA in Theatre at University of Alaska-Anchorage. I have good person to person skills which helped with my p-t job of 3 plus years as a casino night card dealer and character actor for the Alaska event production companies Art Service North and Outcast Productions. This job required a positive engaging attitude to make sure the event guests are well entertained, the host businesses are happy and the production crew travels well together. After relocating to Minneapolis I worked with Las Vegas Tonight and The Murder Mystery Company in similar fashions. Also in the Minneapolis area I began working with Mad Science of Minnesota where I worked in a fun party environment engaging and educating youth in science. For fun and education I keep involved in short film productions both in front and behind the camera. Through my education, employment and dedication to the entertainment industry I am familiar with many parts of theatre and film productions, both on and off stage and on and off camera. Much can be learned by watching productions develop, be it theatre or film. Some on camera experience comes from a featured speaking extra role on Discovery Channel's television program “Wild West Alaska” 2nd season Christmas episode and an extra in the independent feature “Wildlike.” Although mostly clean shaven at present, I have the go-to-saying of; my hair is attached to me I am not attached to my hair. So my facial hair can come and go as needed; but my scalp hair seems to just keep going. I love adventures; and I am just months off a round-the-world trip on Peace Boat. I flew to Tokyo to board in Yokohama, traveling west passing through the Suez and Panama Canals, through the Baltic Sea, porting 27 times in Asia, Europe, North, South and Central America. Actually it was an almost around the world trip, for I needed to disembarked in Hawaii after 97 days, 10 days from returning to Yokohama. The ship I sailed upon, the Ocean Dream, has minor celebrity status having been the set location for an A-Team episode in the 80's. But like many stars the boat has changed its names through the years and was known as Carnival's Tropicale at the time of shooting. I was born in rural South Dakota, USA; finished high school in Minnesota. When 29 years old moved to Alaska, USA, there I received my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Alaska-Anchorage. I am mobile and ready to roll where the adventure is.
