Hi Everyone, I've been into theatre and acting since I was a little girl. Ever since I saw Roger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella I've been acting. Sure that acting was simply just around the house, but I was always dramatic and always wanted to be in the movies. I majored in theatre in college and I love everything there is about this field. I have been waiting for my life to start and my acting career to take off running! I like this website, not only for the opportunities, but for the support and knowing that others are in the same spot as myself. I hope I get a chance to talk to many of you, whether to vent and relate to each other...or to gain an opportunity! ;) Well I hope everyone has a wonderful week and great start to it. God Bless! Mandalyn...never wait for your life to start...it has always been there...it is happening to you now....you may not be where you want to be....but look around you .....find something you love or someone you love...life is all around you....get some friends together....chip in.......and put on a play somewhere....or do a webseries...call in some chips or go to Mandy.com and find a crew of young people who just graduated film school and need something to put on their reel and who will happily shoot it for free...then submit yourself for film work on Actors Access. Break a leg.
Thank you Muriel! This comment has made me think, rethink, and realize that my viewpoint has been all wrong! This is my life. I am in it. What you are saying is how the greats were/are made and that is what I now will focus on. I hope you are doing well, and I really appreciate your words of wisdom.
