I don't think God really cares what we are--one denomination versus another, or you have to pray like this and not that. If nothing else, it helps to set some time aside to express gratitude. I think everyone enjoys a good story--one that is well written and well told.
Rick you hit on the head. The bible teaches us that GOD wants us to have a personal relationship with him. We are responsible for our own salvation. Ms. Alle, no church should ever try to change you. You have to want the change for yourself or be lead to reconciliation with GOD. The Church is suppose to be the Christians helping the hurting to recover. When we see leaders fall and the congregations fall with them. That is because they ignored the bible when it says "Put no Faith in Man, but in GOD", "If you are in Christ and Christ be in you, Then You become a new creature.......".
