While a period piece might not be the best strategy for attracting reads for someone who's gone back to writing scripts and wants to get hired, it's something I had to do. Thanks Myron. got about 30 ideas, premises in various states. I've started something about an artist who falls under the sway of a "bad mentor" in the form of a female guru. His fight for his art becomes a fight for his life when he has to battle her influence. At this point I'm setting the majority of story in New Mexico. I've got one that I want to revise as well involving grave robbers in the Southwest-like to reconstruct as a horror film.
