Authors Rally to Keep Young People Entertained and Engaged

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know about one of the many efforts of authors to provide online resources to help readers of all ages through the COVID-19 pandemic. I've just updated my online feature for teens interested in creative writing. One new activity is for generating plot ideas, and the other is for making a video documentary about the COVID-19 isolation experience. You can find these and more at https://www.marshmyers.com/trails-to-creativity.html

You can also follow me on Twitter @marshmyers or Instagram @darkandfevered for additional updates.

This is part of a larger effort by the Society for Children's Book Writers and Illustrators to help kids and young people keep learning and creating during this crisis. You can see all the SCBWI offerings here: https://www.scbwi.org/scbwi-connects-teaching-guides/

While the COVID-19 pandemic might prevent you from going to school or hanging out with friends, your imagination and creativity can carry you to anyplace you like.

@Marsh Thanks for the share and you are right we all need to do our bit to keep up the moral of the younger generation. The power of Art (writing being a part) must not be overlooked in these bleak times and can provide respite for insecurities stemming from lockdown.
