Have you heard of Writers Value?

I have been approached by a gentleman from Writers Value to handle my first book and package it to present it to Simon & Schuster Publishers. Has anyone heard of or done business with them? Their website says they also option Film and TV rights, so I was hoping some one here had heard of them.

Emily J

Hey Marian Betts! I have never heard of them and looking at their site, it doesn't seem to be they option projects themselves so much as they create a platform for you to be discovered and helping be the representative for you if someone reaches out want to adapt your work.

Personally, you can have more control without that middleman, and if you have a book that you think would make for a great adaptation, I would check out our Adaptation Revew -->> https://www.stage32.com/scriptservices/coverage/buy?id=66&affid=ejlounge

Aye, a net scrape and whois is all it takes to confirm it's a scam. Or just another self pubber looking to make rent.

Marian Betts

Thanks to both of you. Emily I sent you a private message. Morgan thanks for mentioning those. I had missed them!

Mildred Abbey

Glad you shared. I've never heard of them. Certainly scams should be avoided, but sometimes it is very difficult. As a writer, I am well aware of this. I am a member of top essay services in the UK https://bestbritishessays.com/ and I value my work. Usually my papers are very much appreciated.

Marian Betts

Mildred, I'm glad you saw this. Morgan Aitken suggests net scrape and whois to confirm scam or not.

Suzanne Corso
