My Book into a Play - Didn't work Out

There was a person who wanted to adapt my book into a play, and then a musical play (so that it wouldn't sound too preachy), but things did not work out. I am saddened by this because we've worked on this for months. She said if this wouldn't be a stage play, we'd use it as a traveling play to go into schools (great idea). I was so excited since there is lots of bullying going on in schools today, and our children need to learn about Diversity. This play would have been ideal. So many schools in my area would have either sent there schools to the play as an educational excursion, or we could have taken the play to them. Many teachers would love the idea of using this play as a social skills, or thematic lesson. We would have been a dynamic duo.

Please do not stop pushing to get this done, Dr. Vasquez. I know you have the fortitude, because I am sure it took more than months to write your dissertation....and your PhD proves it. Be encouraged and keep pressing.
