I published a poetry compilation in 2013. Ever since I've been thinking about turning that and a few other poems that didn't make it into the book into a stage play. The caveat is i'm a screenwriter. I know a lot about writing screenplays but not stage plays. This play would have the same feel as For Colored Girls. I have a lot of ideas about how i see these spoken word poems being conveyed into stories. I welcome your ideas as well and what you bring to the table. This would be a collaborative effort. There is no I in Team. Here's the link to my book https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G1ULMGO/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0 if you are interested, let's talk!

Hey, Aray! How cool is that - I love the idea of publishing your poetry for a stage performance! This weekend is Introduce Yourself Weekend, maybe jump in the Introduce Yourself Lounge to generate interest? Let us know how it goes!
I will Kay, thanks!

From the description it sounds like the collection is very expressive. Perhaps adding a dialog towards the work that relates towards it. If you’re looking to collaborate let me know!
Yes, Willam! Very much so
@William are you experienced in stage plays

Hi Aray! I’m actually writing a stage play completely in poetry. It’s called,” The Black Bullet Dichotomy.” I’ve got some Broadway
@David let’s connect! I would love to hear more about yours. I can send you a copy of the book
I would suggest looking at Celtx. They have different templates for various forms of scriptwriting including stage plays. It is also a cheaper alternative.
