Well, I'm pretty new to finding work in the industry, but from what I understand it helps to know different people working at different jobs. (Have connections) So, for example if you met a producer, and they are working on funding for their film, you could ask if they have an editor, and assuming they don't, he/she could recommend you for their project. But, know where to look online as well. Like: productionhub.com has some job listings. But, having connections is the easiest way in my opinion.
