Hello. Does anyone have the free version of Hit Film? If so; how good is the software? I am working on a new project that I want a lot of visual effects on and of course this where I found Hit Film by searching on YouTube.
I've HitFilm4 Express (free) version - I use as my go to quick editing app when I don't need to use Premiere Pro. HF4 is a great program. The audio portion is not the best. Don't know what you're doing with visual effects, and I would recommend you download a copy and take it for a test drive to see if it works.
I am working on a new short film plus I have a potential job as a video production specialist at Yahmama Motor Company. So I am needing something that does VFX wonderfully. I use Davenci Resolve 12.5 FREE but it lacks VFX.
Okay. I just got done setting certain things within the software to my liking. I got to say it's pretty darn good. The color grade system could use a touch up, but other than that; thats pretty much it.

Check out the Hitfilm website as there's plenty of videos up laden with VFX. Most are done with the full paid version.
