Good morning! :) I don't know if this interest you but I'm making a new musical and decided to share this matte painting I did purely on Premiere Pro. Still lots of things to be improved but Id love to hear your thoughts :)

What screen capture software are you using? I'm always looking for good screen capture stuff!
It came out really nice.
But what you could do is use a compositing software to make a layered parallax and make it even more convincing.
Since you're already used to the Adobe pipeline you could cut the images into layers in photshop and then animate them in after effects.
You could use any software like fusion or nuke, natron. It's a lot easier working with masks. But I'm no specialist here my partner is. He uses false perspectives and does matte partings with parallaxes. Actually painted out several cars from a drone shot that was supposed to look like it was from 1930s.
