What's your favorite Non-Linear editor?

I'm thinking of switching completely over to DaVinci Resolve since Version 12 came out. I'm originally a FCPX Editor and the transition to Resolve is so easy since they share so many similarities. I started with FCXP 3-4 years ago when I first started out and it was perfect since I was new to editing. I used to hear so many bad things about FCPX at the time when it first came out, but being a NOOB 3 years a go it was perfect for me. Now nearly 4 years later, I find it to be a crapy editor compare to the other NLE. I also edit in Premiere Pro and was transitioning to Premiere, but now I'm thinking of making DaVinci my main editor. I'm also learning Avid but it's so complicated to me. Resolve feels right at home for me since I'm a FCPX editor originally. What do you guys think?

Been using Adobe Premiere Pro which is working pretty well, tried using Fusion 7 at the weekend. Although I have to admit I didnt get far with it, I liked the node approach but just couldnt quite get the hang of it.

Haven't long switched from Sony Vegas to Adobe Premiere Pro - although have had stuff graded in Da Vinci in the past, and been very pleased with the results.

@Erwin FCPX is way behind it's competitors. It took me sometime to realize that when i started editing more complex projects. Other than that it works just fine minus lags

Michael Retherford

I went from Quantel to Avid to FCP and finally to Premiere. I believe that utilizing Premiere w AE is one of the most user friendly NLE's out there.......
