You want to write the music before the director decides what he wants to hear?
I have been doing this for more than 20 years, the composer's that get that treatment are A list guys. I'm sure you are a great musician & composer, but I don't think you will get that kind of treatment until you have several features under your belt. Do you have a website with samples of your music.
Yea I was a wise ass newbie like you until I found out I didn't know it all. I wish you all the luck, but I don't think you will get far until you grow up.
