What's the best showcase for spec trailers to get Hollywood's interest?
My experience has been that cutting together story boards or illustrations with existing footage (rip reel style) and overlaying text with music and sound effects is a great fast and inexpensive way to pitch a scrip. I work with directors who do it all the time.
