Hello peeps, this is an early teaser of what is to be a feature doc I am a part of. Full disclosure, I am the creator of a niche stringed instrument (GuitarViol ) that is quite popular with hundreds of film/TV composers all around the world over the last 21+ years. 300, Game of Thrones, John Wick - too much to list! Lot's of Netflix, HBO, Showtime, Disney+ et al. Anyway, this is the story of a specialty instrument that few know about but millions hear every day. In this doc, we let the Composers themselves tell the story! (I am mostly an on site fact checker LOL). This production budget is zero and 100% sweat and cooperation of the subjects (and you can imagine the original soundtrack!) Myself, Terry Davis (cinematographer MTV/Walk of fame) and production coordinator/interviewer Dale Turner (Long time editor of Guitar World magazine, Musicians Institute, composer) go onsite to interview the composers in their own natural habitat and, in many cases, show how they do it on camera! It is a labor of love and we started production last year. We did one teaser with Kevin Kiner and since decided to put all the steam into getting it all "in the can". So, this is a glimpse of what we are up to! We have quite a few in the can: Kevin Kiner, Loga Ramin Torkian, Heitor Pereria, Jeff Cardoni, Fil Eisler, John Frizzell, Brandon Roberts, Nathan Matthew David, Charlie Clouser, and soon Tyler Bates! (and a few others to come). Hope to have it wrapped by the end of the year (at least in the can). A lot in the can for the cutting room floor and juicy bonus footage for sure! .Anyway, some of you might enjoy this!

The Screenwriting Lounge isn’t a place to find agents and managers. It’s a place for screenwriters to discuss topics about screenwriting, share content (like screenwriting articles and screenwriting videos), ask questions about screenwriting, swap scripts for feedback, ask for feedback on loglines/etc., and offer tips and advice on the craft and business of screenwriting.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Also, have you thought about pitching to managers through Stage 32’s Pitch Sessions (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/pitch-sessions)? The main purpose of the Pitch Sessions is to get feedback to improve your pitch. Sometimes the executives, managers, etc. will request scripts, sign writers, etc. (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/success-stories).
