Screenwriting : Agent by Ellesa Turner

Ellesa Turner

Agent

Hello everyone. I am looking for an agent help get my script produced and or to a streaming company. If you know of a company or person, please let me know.

Doug Nelson

Ellesa - just look around town, there are lots of 'em in your town.

Ellesa Turner

Trust me I've been looking. Do you know of any?

Doug Nelson

Yes I do. I'm a client of some strong Agents at a couple of Boutique agencies. We have longstanding professional relationships that required years to formulate via in person relationships. I know nothing of you/your work so I won't jeopardize my relationship by blindly introducing you to them. No professional writer ever will. You attend writer's retreats, seminars, festivals, screenwriting classes...on & on. Flash your work around and if it's marketable; an Agent will find you. That's pretty much the way it worked for me and for a couple of professional writers I know. Nobody's gonna hand it to you and nobody says that it's easy.

Ellesa Turner

I never said I wanted anything handed to me nor did I think it would be easy. I have been looking. I'm just new to this and needed some help and insight.

Ellesa Turner

Also I don't too much care for your tone or energy. Please do not comment on my post again. Respectfully, thank you

Molly Peck

Hi Ellesa, we have some great resources that can help connect you with agents and managers. One way many of our writers have been able to find success is through script consultation calls. This way, you can choose an executive whose interests match up with your script, and you'll be able to talk to them and form a connection.
