Does anyone want to collaborate with me on Period Drama/ Political Thriller based on the controversial 1876 election?

Does anyone want to collaborate with me on Period Drama/ Political Thriller based on the controversial 1876 election?

Jenean McBrearty

Depends on the story you want to tell. Sounds tempting, but I have doubts about working on a project that might be as contentious as the election itself when it comes to marketing. As a backdrop for a drama ---- maybe, but the end of Reconstruction? In this divided PC world, dominated by identity politics, better get yourself a very blue co-writer if the story is propaganda.

Unable to collaborate, but if you want to talk anything through, by all means get in touch either here or via my website: www.philmscribe.com

Hey Benjamin Beadle sounds like a fantastic idea! I know you discussed it a bit in another thread. Feel free to email me at j.mirch@stage32.com - There are so many writers we work with who are always eager to collaborate. Maybe I can help you make a connection.

Robert Sacchi

Are you thinking documentary, docudrama, or using the election as a backdrop?

Robert Sacchi

Jenean McBrearty brings up an interesting question. Are you trying to push a political message or let the events speak for themselves?

Chaun Lee

Are you a member of the Writer's Room? I've collaborated on a few pieces with other members...I think RB Botto is offering a free month for anyone who wants to join.
