Please do all yourselves a grand spanking favor. Keep Steven Pressfields book “Turning Pro,” “War of Art,” and all of his books near your desk to read in feelings of woe and worry, it’s helpful to get a kick in the pants. Much love.

Thanks for the tip. I will google Stevens work. It's always good to get a blast of "fresh eyes".

My ass is not on fire with desire... which sounds a little porny to me.

Great advice! I just finished reading "War of Art" about a week ago!! I believe the second book in the series is "Do the Work" and then "Turning Pro." Those are on my "to read" list.

Hey Raymond, this is Beth from the Stage 32 team. I just wanted to let you know I moved your post from Screenwriting to Read a Good Book Lately?, as it fits much better there. Let me know if you have any questions, and all the best to you!
Speaking of the word "Ass". I think this word can be taken in many different contexts. I'm roaming around "Indie" libraries Scandinavia at the moment and just seen this poster hovering over DVD section. "Free your mind......and your ass will automatically follow." It's true, that in some respects, we are in the "place" the thoughts and feelings in our minds tell us.

My must-read from '15: 'F@@k It - the ultimate spiritual way' by John C. Parkin. Wow, what a book! If the read doesn't change aspects your life, send me the receipt - I'll pay for it :)
