Screenwriting : Just feeling it today. by Grady McShane

Grady McShane

Just feeling it today.

My imagination eats depression, and sings light. Electric songs burst forth from my every particle.

I stare wide-eyed as I Google insane things, shave the dimensions of my latest universe and decide who dies next....and how.

I write. Every word is a firefly released into the dark forest. Moments coalesce with sensations, and truths seep through cracks in my imaginary cell walls. I'm 3 people in one conversation about 4 subjects. Everything is becoming something else. Blooming, exploding, lighting up and burning down in colors that whisper and scream dreams into flesh.

I'm high on the journey. I yearn for the arrival. I long to eat popcorn, and watch my finest creations and foulest aberrations slam-dance across a magical screen.

I aspire shamelessly. My goals have no walls or ceilings.

All I can see is everything.

And, I'm not afraid of any of it.

I'm on my way. Save me a seat.

Back row's fine.

For screenwriting, lose the flowery prose...

Why revive a three month old thread that didn't make sense in the first place...?

W Keith Sewell

I'm sure it made sense to the poster, beside I wasn't looking at the date, it came up in searches. I responded.

Where are all the new discussions Jody? All that seem to be under "new" on page one are old, am I looking in the wrong place?

Jody Ellis

Are you clicking on lounge and then screenwriting? Seems like the site gets a bit wonky at times and there were some major problems awhile back with it only showing old posts. I can see threads from today and the last couple days though.

Look at the Original Post and to the right and you will see when it was posted. In this one it shows it was created 3 months ago right next to the little clock.

W Keith Sewell

Yeah, I saw that after Jody mentioned its age, didn't notice it for one it's barely visible on my screen, I'm just surprised at how many old post came up when I hit "new". But I think I got it now thanks.
