Screenwriting : Making connections by Anthony Lucas

My personal circle of friends are not really interested in the TV/movie industry outside of watching them. Which is fine. Having found Stage 32 has been a huge boost for me in regard to finding like minded people who are interested and understand what I'm trying to achieve. I'd personally be very happy to work/collaborate with anyone to improve my skills and generate connections/networks/friendships etc. Do you find people are very wary of collaborating or simply messing around with ideas with people in forums such as this that they don't know?
