Read a couple of dozen screenplays and do what they all do, but not what only one or two do.

Then just use one of the free apps or just type it in with tabs to create the format.

That's what I did when I was starting out - tab button. I measured the indents (and "outdents" - which probably isn't a word) and then typed it into format. Typewriter days.

But I don't know what your script is for, TV or movie, but as a movie that is about half the length you are looking for. So if this is a movie, note how it differs from those two dozen screenplays that you read.

William Martell, true about the length, but that changes drastically with the formatting. Properly formatted, 10,000 words translate to approximately 60 script pages.
