Hello all! This month we have a bunch of awesome sessions lined up, so I just wanted to run through who's who and looking for what. If you have any questions, let me know! TOMORROW, we're having a little "manager night"! 2:30PM PST - Nadi Filsoof, of Nadi Filsoof Management He's looking for comedy, action, thriller and rom-com features. Nadi comes from UTA and ICM, he's recently formed his own management firm and is looking to expand his client roster! 8:30PM PST - Emma Wisdom is the Assistant to the Managers at Art/Work Entertainment. Most of Art/Work's submissions run through Emma. She's here representing the managers from Art/Work and is looking for all genres and formats of screenplays. The weekend of October 8th, we're bringing in 3 brand new executives, along with two of our heavy hitters! On Saturday: 11:30AM - Bradley Gallo, the Chief Creative Officer for Amasia Entertainment. Amasia is a boutique production and finance company behind films like Mr. Right (starring Anna Kendrick), The Call (starring Halle Berry), and more. They're in pre-production on FATE which was written by the writer of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story! He's looking for thriller, action, horror, sci-fi, and true story features. 2:30PM PST - One of the biggest managers in town, Daniel Vang from Good Fear Film Management. Daniel Vang is a reknown manager. This guy is awesome, but he's only looking for the best. Sign up only if you're confident in your material! No wishy-washies on this one, boys and girls! 2:30PM PST - Another first-timer, we've got Katie Politanoff, a Producer with A Really Good Home Pictures. They're the prod co. behind films like Term Life and shows like F Is for Family on Netflix. She's looking for all genres of features (except horror, raunchy comedy and superheroes). To follow up, on Sunday we have: 11:30AM PST - Nick Watson with Artillery Creative. Nick is a Creative Executive with Artillery, which is behind the Freeform show, Guilt, and films like Two Men in Town (starring Forest Whitaker and Harvey Keitel), and Revenge of the Green Dragons (produced by Martin Scorcese). Nick is looking for comedy and drama TV pilots, and all genres of features. 6:30PM PST - Erin Larsen, the Executive Assistant to veteran Hollywood producer Robert Cort, is coming in looking for new material. Robert Cort is the producer behind classics like Runaway Bride, Jumanji, and most recently, A Year Ago in Winter. Erin is looking for family, comedy, drama, thriller, and rom-com feature scripts. Oh... we're not done yet. That would be too easy! Next Wednesday, we're hosting a "Indie under $5MM" night. We're bringing in two executives who are looking for feature screenplays that can be produced for under $5MM. Wednesday, October 12th: 11:30AM PST - Darren Kwan is coming in from Red Apollo Group. Red Apollo is one of the largest distribution companies in China (Florence Foster Jenkins, Equals, Queen of the Desert). They're expanding into production and looking to quickly build a slate of projects. Darren has been put in charge of this effort as the Production Manager and is eagerly seeking action, sci-fi, thriller, and horror feature screenplays! At 1:30 PM PST - Morgan White from Sundial Pictures is coming in. Sundial is behind critically acclaimed films like Obvious Child. Morgan is a Creative Executive with Sundial and is looking for thriller, drama, and sci-fi features. On Saturday, October 15th we're bringing in: 9:30AM PST - Kenchy Ragsdale, a TV Development Executive and Producer. Kenchy is a 20 year veteran of the industry, serving as the executive producer on over 10 drama and comedy pilots for CBS and FOX. He's looking for comedy and drama TV pilots! 10:30AM PST - If you got animation, this one's for you. John Murphy is in Creative Development for Vanguard Films & Animation. Vanguard is the company behind Shrek, Puss in Boots, Valiant, and Happily NEver After. He's looking for animation, or comedy that could be adapted for animation. 2:30PM PST - Tim Gendron is a Creative Executive and Jr. Manager with DMG Entertainment. DMG is behind films like Bastards (Owen Wilson, Ed Helms), Iron Man 3, Looper, and Kick-Ass. He's currently looking for high-budget scripts! On Sunday, October 16th we're bringing in: 10:30AM PST - Ghislaine Devoy from the TV Department at Pico Creek Productions! Pico Creek is the company behind Gray's Anatomy, American Odyssey, Dirty Sexy Money, and The Shield. She's looking for drama and horror TV pilots! On Saturday, October 22nd we have: 10:30AM PST - One of my favorites, Sasha Nonas-Barnes is coming in from Ineffable Pictures. Ineffable is behind films like The Road Within, The Red Rose of Normandy, the upcoming Tiger's Curse adaptation, and they're getting ready to release Late Bloomer. Sasha is looking for comedy, sci-fi, action, adventure, YA (young-adult), and high-concept feature screenplays! 10:30AM PST - Producer Maggie Lane is coming in. She has nearly a decade of experience in development at places like The Jim Jensen Company, FOX, Warner Bros., and Pukeko Pictures. She's looking for sci-fi, thriller, and fantasy features & TV pilots! 2:30PM PST - Austin Rohaly from the amazing Marilyn Atlas Management is coming in. Marilyn Atlas is a veteran manager who's signed Stage 32'ers before, and taken them into meetings at studios all over LA! Her client credits include Hulu's East Los High. Sunday, October 23rd at 6:30PM PST - We're hosting a confidential session with an executive from Dreamworks Animation. This executive is looking for family, fantasy, adventure and animated features.
