Dear all, I am entering an online pitchfest to present and pitch my screenplay. Since its my first experience of this kind, I need help-suggestions. Stage32 has always helped me and I hope to get a few good suggestions so that I can improve my quality of presentation! Thanks..
yes. It is the same.
@ Lyse. I double liked what u wrote. I think its sound and very informative advice. I hope to someday post a question, and would value your feedback. I learnt so much new things on this awesome site, and posts like urs are inspiring and helpful. thanks
@Lyse.. Thank you so much for your advice. Its really helpful to not just me but other members of the community too; as it is on a lounge discussion. A request, can you give me some of your precious time so that I may have a Skype call with you and practice the pitch? I'd be grateful if you can help! :)
@Lyse, yes I understand, but the fact is I have written the screenplay for one of my clients and he is paying for the pitchfest and everything else. I am pitching the screenplay for him and I don't know if he'll be ready to spend money on practice sessions. I hope you understand. Anyway, thank you very much for your advice and I'll definitely be in touch with you when I'll pitch my own screenplay.

I'm not sure about pitch festivals. I've worked prof. in the business for over 25 years and never come across a project that came from a pitch festival. Do your home work before entering any of them and make sure your property is registered with the WGA

Hey Lyse, great post! Extremely helpful. Pitching is sooooo nerve-wracking. I have not done it online yet, but hope to in the future. Thanks for sharing your tips and experience!

The best advice I can give is to imagine your pitch as concentric circles. The outside circle is the world. Next is the protagonist... etc...
@Martine for this information. I'll give it a try.
